Vladimir Kozicki is my friend as well as an author and artist. He is working on a book on BDSM and spirituality which is how we got to know each other. I took these portraits for my second book which includes an interview with him. Vladimir entered the BDSM community in the early 1980s. He spent his first career as a senior government policy advisor. He left to follow life-long dreams; he is now a blacksmith-artist, sculptor and writer. He lives on a hundred-acre farm in Abercorn, Québec. These photos were taken at Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont. Read the Column series about my relationship with Vladimir.
