BDSM & Spirituality Group of New England
 

The BDSM & Spirituality Group of New England lives both online through Yahoo for online discussion as well as hosting live meetings. Our meetings have had such luminary guest speakers such as Raven Kaldera, Thomas "Keckler" Lewis, Jennifer Hunter and Mikhael Yowe. Some of our meetings are also lively roundtable discussions of a wide variety of spiritual approaches including Eastern, Judeo-Christian, Earth-Centered, Pagan and many other special interests like Tantra. We welcome people of every spiritual orientation and show respect and care for all religious traditions. Our focus is on how BDSM can be used as a tool for spiritual transformation.

We meet approximately every two to three months, often in the Vermont area but we are now growing into the New Hampshire and Massachusetts areas and are looking for hosts for those areas. Our meetings are friendly casual get-togethers with dinner and a discussion afterward in a private home. These events are NOT play party oriented and are specifically designed to be a safe place to talk about our spiritual orientation in a small group of people – usually 10-15 guests. Dress is casual and we all bring food to share, as well as a small creative gift and a gas money donation for our speaker if we have one. We encourage a NON-meat market mentality so Submissives can feel very comfortable at our meetings.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE SCHEDULE: Raven will have to leave at 10 PM sharp because of a commitment Sunday morning, so we encourage all guests to arrive earlier as possible.

Raven Kaldera is a shaman, pornographer, homesteader, activist, slave-owner, and King of a very small Pagan kingdom. He is the author of too many books to list here, including “Dark Moon Rising: Pagan BDSM” and “Pagan Polyamory.”

To RSVP: If you are interested in attending you must be a member of the New England Spirit Power group. We will screen you for the group and then RSVP you for this event. Please have an adult profile on Yahoo which lists your age as 21 or above.

What to Bring:

There is no charge to attend our events. However, we do ask that you bring the following:

1. Dinner food to share (enough for 3-4 people).

2. A small gift for our honored guest speaker. These will be put together in a gift basket as a thank you. These can be either BDSM goodies, New England specialties such as beer/wine, books, or specialty foods or homemade gifts such as jams, mittens, or whatever your hobby is. We encourage creativity – not costliness!

3. Please consider donating a few dollars to the gas money box for our visiting guest speaker.

4. Bedding for yourself.

4-6 PM Arrive, relax and get to know each other
6-8 PM Buffet dinner & conversation
8 PM Guest Speaker and demonstration
10 PM and onward, free play

RSVP: We take the RSVP seriously because we need to be able to plan for the space and guests. We ask for 48 hours cancellation notice unless it's an emergency. If you do a No Show without contacting me or the host in advance you will not be welcome at other events that I organize.
