Sadie: You are a DJ for Dominate Radio. How did you get involved in such an unusual hobby? Sassy: "A wonderful friend of mine came to visit me for a weekend. She is also into the lifestyle and she started telling me about this great chat channel and that a BDSM flavored internet radio station. Well i visited their chat then tuned in to the DJ's and i was hooked. A few days after joining them i was trying to get all the music i could and started DJing for Dominate Radio." Sadie: What kind of music do you play? Sassy: "My Wednesday show is 2 hours of all country, my Friday show though is a mix of everything, Country, Dance, 80s 90s and Current...Right now i'm on a Matchbox 20 kick so i play some of their music in almost all of my shows." Sadie: Do you have any favorite music that has a BDSM theme? Sassy: "I do, VAST 'Pretty When You Cry' is a wonderful BDSM song as well as 'Puddle of Mudd Control.' They are both just great songs to listen to." Sadie: What kind of other things do you include, such as interviews or other information? Sassy: "At times i pass on jokes that i have gotten or rant a little bit or give out my local weather Sadie: How can listeners find your radio show on the website? What time is it on? Sassy: "When can go to www.DominateRadio.com and follow the links for the Jocks then show times, i am on Wednesday from 12pm-2pm EST with my Wild Country Show and Fridays from 12pm-2pm EST with a mix of it all." Sadie: What keeps you passionate about being a DJ in the BDSM scene? Sassy: "I enjoy having the freedom to play the kind of music we want to hear without having to worry with finding a 'clean version' of it as well as being able to talk with people about our different kinks and such; makes every day different." Sadie: The idea of a web radio station specializing in the BDSM scene is a bit unusual. To what do you attribute the success of the station? Sassy: "I honestly think this radio is where it is because of all of the hard work of Crimson Sir who is our station owner and trelana{R} who is the station manager. She keeps everything running smooth even with it seems like everything is going wrong, and of course all the wonderful DJ's on Dominate Radio. Without them and their different personalities and tastes this radio wouldn't have made it this far." Sadie: There's a chat feature on the website. What kind of feedback do you get from your listeners? Sassy: "We love to have the listeners come into the chat channel #DominateRadio on irc server irc.bondage.com. It's great to have them hang out with us but they ask for requests, let us know that they like what they hear. Or don't. And hey that's ok too. We can't please everyone all the time. ~laughs~ Sadie: What kind of requests do you most often receive? Sassy: "I think i get more dedications than anything, usually beautiful love songs sent from a Master to His slave or slave to Master, but i do get requests from people for anything from dance music to liven someone's day up or something slow and mellow just so they can relax and unwind." Sadie: You live in the Midwest, "surrounded by corn fields." What's the BDSM scene like where you live? Are you involved in the community there? Sassy: "There is a very large scene where i live (outside St Louis). They host several national events each year here, and as my life permits i do attend various munches or play parties." Sadie: How would you describe your BDSM orientation? Any favorite kinks? Sassy: "I'm very familiar with most things BDSM. i've only been in the lifestyle about four years now, but i have had wonderful F/friends guide me through my journey who teach and show me many things. i think my favorite kink is the control and pain but before that i think i feel the best is just knowing i have pleased the One i am serving." Sadie: Is there anything else you'd like to share with our readers?
