SENSUOUS SADIE: I heard you are
the woman that throws the huge parties.
QUEEN MAUREEN: It's a control freak job but someone has to do it. A
few times a year we get together and have a blow out! A shebang! (great
words) A hundred or so of the best people - that' s kinky people - all
pitch in to have these events. I couldn't do it without them.
Sadie: Where do you have them?
Maureen: I have had them in the park, kept it going until dark; I
have had them in a boat on the river where we float; I have had them in
a hotel and ate and played very well.
Sadie: Are they play parties?
Maureen: Some are, some are formal, some are casual. It is all good
fun. The Bruise Cruise is a play party on a boat. Some Holiday Parties
were formal, and others had conference rooms for play. The picnics are
never play - too open to the public.
Sadie: What else do you do?
Maureen: I play volleyball.
Sadie: What else do you do... In
BDSM?
Maureen: I have done demos on electricity, latex, mindfucks, creative
sceneing, and have assisted Lord Latex in a few cool ones. He is a
better speaker than I am, but I have a nicer ass.
Sadie: How long have you been
involved in the BDSM scene? Please tell me a little bit about your
background and experience.
Maureen: I knew I was different when I was eight years old. When I
was 18 I began to be active. (I am 40 now)
Sadie: Do you belong to any
organizations?
Maureen: I was a scout, I got a merit badge in knot tying.
Sadie: I hear you are a
wisenheimer.
Maureen: Lies, I tell you, all lies!
Sadie: But didnt you win an award
for such?
Maureen: I won the H.O.O.T. award. At first I thought it was because
I had big hooters, but I looked down and saw my toes, so I knew it
couldn't be for that. It was for being me - a category all to myself. I
would have been crushed if I lost. It means alot to me.
Sadie: How would you describe
your philosophy/approach as it pertains to the BDSM lifestyle?
Maureen: I am S&M. I can appreciate the D/s relationships but
that style doesn't fit me. I prefer to have this as a hobby, a sport.
Some say I am not 'serious' because I am not in a relationship. Screw
them.
Sadie: Are you currently in a
relationship? If so, can you tell me a little bit about it? If not, what
are you looking for in a partner?
Maureen: I am not in a relationship, nor am I looking for a partner.
Why would I be?
Sadie: How did your approach to
BDSM change over time you've been exploring this side of your sexuality?
Maureen: I got better. (And more arrogant apparently)
[apparently so says Sadie!]
Sadie: What kind of advice would
you give to novices starting out in the lifestyle?
Maureen: For the Dominants - plan your scene. Write it down. Write
things you want to say, the order of toys you want to use, the 'flow'
you want. Then blindfold your sub and use your crib sheet. It will
prevent you from getting stuck.
Sadie: Are you willing to train
other Dominants?
Maureen: Oh sure. I have and still do.
Sadie: What kinds of articles
will you be working on?
Maureen: I write of my experiences. Many people look for scene ideas
and they are boring. Mine are warped.
Sadie: How did you get involved
in this project?
Maureen: I love the Party Club people. It is all about fun. No
issues, no whining. Hell, yes, I am on board.
Sadie: What are your hopes for it
in the next year?
Maureen: I have no hopes for next year. I do things for today, for
fun. Maybe I will be a nun next year.
Sadie: Anything else you'd like
to add?
Maureen: I would be here for hours. We don't want to bore your
readers anymore. Thanks Sadie.
Sadie: Thank you very much for
chatting with me!
