I first came across some Barbie bondage pics on Yahoo a couple of years ago, and thought they were very funny. I think there's just something about Barbie (little Miss Perfect!) that makes us want to do terrible things to her.

I dragged out my childhood Barbies to take some pics of my own, but quickly found that my imagination was just a bit too vivid for Barbie's limitations. I kept thinking, "If only I had a jointed doll...." 

Toy is a Volks Mini Dollfie (1/6 scale which is basically Barbie-sized) that I discovered on the web. These dolls have to be imported from Japan, but you can often find them used on Ebay.

For clothes, props and furniture, I collect everything from everywhere. Sometimes it's an actual Barbie or Dollfie accessory. Sometimes I simply see something that I can use. Placemats make excellent carpets; jewelry boxes become armoires. The chain saw on the floor of the fisting picture? That's a refrigerator magnet. And of course, I haunt yard sales and eBay for old doll furniture and miniatures. A couple of floggers are actually tassels for sewing projects. It's a matter of always keeping an eye out for things on the right scale, which is an easy habit for me because as a kid, I always seemed to spend more time furnishing Barbie's townhouse than "playing" with the dolls.

Some props have to be made, however. The spreader bars are dowel rods and tiny eyebolts. Some of the floggers and dildos are made of Sculpey clay.

Rex, my former master and still best friend, even got caught up in the habit when he found fully-jointed male action figures in the toy stores. They come with cool accessories like rifles and machetes and gas masks, lol. On my website www.kate4kink.com, Toy will soon have encounters with firemen and cops, which should prove very interesting.

When I saw Sadie's Barbie pics, I was so jealous of the "leather" domme mask! It did not occur to me at all that Catwoman, the movie, might actually have had something good come out of it! It's wonderful to find someone else who still enjoys playing with dolls as much as I do!
