Your site rocks, your personality
rocks & I don't have a kick-ass award for a site like yours!! So,
I've given you three that you definitely deserve. You have quality,
quantity, honesty & attitude.
Your site is really wonderfully well done. I cannot tell you how good it
is to view something so original, I am getting sick of seeing those
triple back ground code pages with all the flowers and sparkles that
most subs seem to be offering these days. really excellent! Many thanks
and congrats; I genuinely love the work you have done.
Look, if you want to torture me, spank me, lick me,
do it. But if this poetry shit continues just shoot me now please. This quote kind of sets the mood for this site; it is
a tongue and cheek look at the lifestyle with a lot of great information
mixed in. Sadie is a writer and is getting ready to have her first book
published. She has a great style and is shall we say a very opinionated
young Lady. The site is broken up into ten areas. About, Interviews,
Quotes, Profile Interviews, Columns, her monthly Newsletter,
Spirituality, Writers Resources, BDSM Resources, Starting a BDSM Group
& Praise area. The site is full of Sadie's original writings and I
feel is a wealth of information. This is a must see for new and
experienced people in the lifestyle. This site wins the Gold Award; it
is educational, entertaining, has original graphic work, has 90%
original content and is easy to navigate.
Site Review by BDSM U Reviewed by yielding, slave to Master Stern Sensuous Sadie is the founder of Rose & Thorn, Vermont's first BDSM group, and was its leader from 1999-2001. Her name & work is attached to several publications, not the least of which is her own weekly newsletter, "SCENEsubmissions." She edits fiction, poetry and humor for the Erotic Power Exchange website, is an associate & contributing editor for BDSM News, moderates the BDSM Writers Group and has conducted many interviews with scene luminaries like John Warren, author of The Loving Dominant, Gloria Brame, author, counselor and sex expert, and Robert Dante, author of Bullwhip Magic, as well as scene leaders, like Ed, leader of White Mountains Different Strokes, and Laura Goodwin, leader of United Leatherfolk of Connecticut, and scene unknowns, like me. Her site contains all her interviews, resources for the community and the groups within it, essays on everything from BDSM fashion to public play. Sadie's passion is spirituality and the connection between spirituality and BDSM. Right now she's working on her first book, tentatively titled "It's Not About The Whip: My Explorations Into Love, Sex, And Spirituality in The BDSM Scene," and an entire section of her site is devoted to interviews and essays about spirituality. It's fascinating reading, especially for those who are interested in the "deeper" mind/body/spirit connection in the lifestyle. Sadie also spends quite a bit of time exploring something many submissives feel - the dichotomy of looking and behaving independently while still being a submissive within relationships. She's outspoken, says what she thinks with humor and passion, and again, keeps me happy by not overloading her website with a lot of extraneous imagery or slow-loading graphics. More, her site holds items of interest for beginners as well as long-time scene members, and is as relevant to those who are interested in part-time play relationships as those who wish to devote themselves to 24/7 lifestyles. This is a woman who devotes a lot of time and energy to BDSM issues, and therefore offers a plethora of trustworthy, up-to-date information. Sensual Sadie's domain is worth visiting, bookmarking and returning to again and again.
